Senior Quantity Surveyor
£40,000 - £65,000/annum + package
An agile Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consultancy who are very client focused and offer a wealth of expertise and experience in all sectors of the built environment. are searching for a Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London office and deliver services within the UK and internationally.
Through their passion to deliver excellence to their clients, they have developed an impressive client and project portfolio list that demonstrates the high level of capability and expertise they have within their business. over 80% of their work comes from repeat business or by referral, providing them with strong client service delivery credentials and consistency of workflow. They envisage a continuation of this growth in the foreseeable future and they want the Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them to help develop the clients they have and build on new accounts. Their client and project base include private and corporate sector clients with project values in excess of £75m. Quantity Surveying / Cost Management currently forms approximately 70% of our workload, with well-known luxury retail stores, Premiership football clubs, well known food retailers and institutions
Senior Quantity Surveyor:
This position requires a dynamic and enthusiastic team player with expertise in Quantity Surveying to lead key Projects and Client accounts by joining a forward thinking, rapidly expanding niche consultancy.
The role requires a highly capable individual with a high level of drive and ambition and strong organisational skills to develop and grow key client accounts.
This represents an excellent opportunity for the right individual to become a figurehead with their clients and a senior member within the firm.
Reporting to a Director undertaking a senior role to lead and manage a growing team on a variety of key client accounts and to explore and develop business opportunities
The role will be wide ranging and will include the following:
Overseeing the management and service delivery of multiple projects
Chartered MRICS or MCIOB
A high degree of project delivery
Management of multiple projects and project teams
Business development (finding, leading and winning new fee commissions)
Operational and Business management
Ensuring Technical Excellence in our service delivery
The suitable candidate will be from a Consultancy background working in Quantity Surveying on Commercial Projects including hotels, residential and retail projects with successful experience of rollout programmes and a balanced mix of pre and post contract experience.
Experience of new build and refurbishment pre and post contract work with varying values.
Providing high quality early cost advice to our clients is an important function the candidate will have delivered. The company have a number of MRICS assessors in house and have a 100% pass rate with all employees.
