Quantity Surveyor - £27 - £36k per year - Solihull - Permanent

A main contractor based in the West Midlands are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to help deliver luxury residential properties and also work on the procurement of materials and preferred suppliers. They build an exciting mixture of new build, refurbishment and extension projects across affluent areas in South Birmingham, and they are now looking to employ a client facing, energetic self starter who is looking to develop their career. The Quantity Surveyor will join a contractor who have built some of the most inspirational, design lead schemes in the last 5 years. 

They work for private home owners who come to them due to their experience of designing and delivering exceptional quality on every site, making the experience as stress free and maximising every site that they work on. 

The Quantity Surveyor responsibilities would consist of

  • Procurement of materials 
  • Set up preferred suppliers
  • Bills of quantities
  • Take off's
  • Contract administration
  • Meeting minutes
  • Briefing on site staff
  • Health & Safety knowledge 
  • Cost Plans
  • Review tenders from sub contractors
