Job Description

Construction Project Manager

A small independent construction company based in Central London are seeking a Degree educated, Construction Project Manager to work on a number of sites in south London and the South East. The relatively new contractor have won a number of key schemes across a variety of sectors and have a number of projects within the Automotive industry, working with luxury car manufactures to build the best possible show rooms. This is a client facing role and the Project Manager must be comfortable reporting and presenting to clients, have exceptional IT skills and be able to demonstrate clear, articulate and language both written and in person.

The ideal candidate would have some experience in the automotive arena and be able to demonstrate strong on site construction experience. The Project Manager must be capable of running projects independently and be able to rewrite progrmme's to make the project profitable and complete on time. With a number of new build and refurbishment projects the preferred candidate would have experience from working on site and have progressed into a Project Manager role, perhaps from a Site Manager position.

Project Manager requirements:

  • Progress from Site manager back ground – moving into project management.
  • Good level of all-round experience.
  • Good up and down communicator.
  • Happy to be left in charge of site.
  • Degree education from a reputable University.
  • To progress beyond this level and grow with us.
  • Experience with Civils would be beneficial.
  • Automotive experience useful 
The suitable Project Manager must be self motivated to run projects autonomously and be able to demonstrate maturity and the ability to work to tight budgets and time lines for demanding clients. The Project Manager must not shirk responsibility and communicate well with the company directors at board meetings and weekly client meetings. 
 
Salary Circa £60,000 - £65,000 plus travel and expenses
