A family owned main contractor and Facilities Management company based in Birmingham are seeking a Project Manager to head up their on site projects. They have a strong relationship with international distribution companies such as Amazon and need an experienced Site Manager to help deliver new build construction projects, maintenance of existing properties and improvement works across the UK.
Our client provides an extensive range of facilities maintenance, civil engineering, groundwork, surfacing and international refurbishment solutions for their private and public sector clients.
The Site Manager would be responsible for meeting with the client, taking the brief and delivering the minutes to the internal QS team to price and then deliver the on site works. The main requirement is experience with Distribution centres and an in-depth understanding of how they are built, are used and any key issues they may have is of high importance.
Project Manager requirements and key deliverables:
M&E for the Distribution centres
Complete the required RAMS
Work with the security to ensure all projects are completed safely and with minimum disruption
Manage the on site trades and labour and ensure that projects are delivered on time and budget.
You shall be required to assist the senior team with small reactive works and single site facilities management to major civil engineering projects, large-scale refurbishment works and multi-site facilities solutions. The client delivers specialist expertise, exceptional customer service and a high quality end product, within programme and on budget.
If you have the proven ability to deliver Distribution projects and are willing to travel when required across the UK, they will pay up to £55,000 plus a car and fuel and annual bonus
