Facilities Manager - £43k-£48k - Lowestoft - BPSS Security Clearance - Full-Time Permanent

I am currently recruiting a Facilities Manager to work for a large FM service provider to help manage and deliver facilities services across a cluster of buildings. You will be managing and developing a team of multi-disciplined service delivery colleagues, covering hard and soft services, to deliver contractual service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Required to demonstrate strong leadership, communication and management skills across team including cleaning, maintenance and security staff
  • Management of KPI’s
  • Management of site documentation ensuring it is always kept up to date
  • Manage and enhance client relationships on day to day basis
  • Recruitment and training/development of direct reports
  • Management of in-house and contracted staff ensuring PPM’s and SLA’s are met
  • Completion of cleaning audits to ensure the estate is cleaned to a desired level
  • Responsible of ensuring all contractors adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Management of small projects in line with CDM regs
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental legislations

What you need to succeed: 

  • Experience in a similar role for minimum of 5 years
  • Proven working knowledge of risk assessments, safe systems of work and permits to work
  • Competent in KPI and SLA management
  • Strong client care/service skills
  • Strong people management skills with previous experience
  • IOSH
  • Experience of managing projects
  • Experience of managing budgets
