£50,000 - £55,000/annum Plus Car Allowance


Boden Resource are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager on behalf of a leading FM service provider.


The role is based at a single site and will be a great opportunity for a client facing individual that wants to progress his/her career.


The Contract Manager is expected to be familiar with all aspects of the engineering operations and administration. In general, the ideal candidate's responsibilities will be to ensure the operational resources, plant, labour and infrastructure are in place to ensure correct, safe and efficient function of critical and noncritical engineering services.


This person will be charged with the day-to-day operational responsibility of the Engineering team. It is the Contract Managers’ role to provide leadership to all of the contract site operational and response staff, to ensure that the objectives of the contract are met, especially (but not limited to) Health & Safety, 100% uptime of plant and ensuring that the building engineering systems continue to perform to the optimum performance level.


The Contract Manger will be responsible for the financial aspects of the contract and recruitment of operational technician level staff.


You will be a key contact in the event of any operational issues, out of hours, and must be able to react in a methodical and controlled manner, implementing the agreed escalation procedures as required and keeping the client fully briefed on both the incident and the strategy to resolution. 


You will be required to communicate to the customer on all aspects relating to the operation of the plant and systems and directing the Site Personnel accordingly.


The post holder will ensure the delivery of these services as part of the contract team to maintain business continuity and compliance with the Client & Norland processes and procedures at all times. 


Ideal Candidate:

  • Technically Qualified (Ideal not essential - Good working knowledge it sufficient)
  • Commercially and financially astute 
  • Has previously managed a P+L
  • Has managed hard services
  • Strong Character that can handle high pressure environments
