Assistant Facilities Manager

£24,000 12 Months FT



Boden resource have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager working on a single site based in the Crewe area. This would be an ideal opportunity for an office manager or FM coordinator looking to take the next step in their career. Experience within a FM environment highly desirable.



  • Facilities Assistant working on a single site looking after the soft services
  • Acting as the ‘Go to’ person on site making sure you are around to deal with any issues
  • Conducting walk arounds, the building and highlighting any issues or area of concerns to the right people
  • Working with the helpdesk booking any jobs that need completing on site
  • Providing cover for front of house services such as reception when needed
  • Working on the front line and dealing with escalations in a calm and efficient manner
  • Ensuring standards across the building maintaining H&S
  • Offering support to the facilities team and rest of the firm as needed
  • Reporting to the Facilities manager on a regular basis



  • A large service provider




  • Strong communicator able to communicate at all levels 
  • Calm and composed demeanour when needed – able to deal with multiple issues on site and install confidence in the team
  • Proactive and practical with a team player attitude
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong eye for detail – able to walk around a site and highlight issues
  • Background in Facilities management an advantage
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Experience within a similar role desirable
